One of the best things about seeing a game in Milwaukee is that, Ryan Braun or not, this is a baseball city. After taking the train from Chicago to the Milwaukee Airport (not the sexiest place to stay) I cabbed it downtown and spent a few hours exploring a pretty, but very quiet part of town. I took the express 90 bus to Miller Park and settled into a quality experience. While I wasn’t driving I could appreciate the vast parking lot and the tailgating going on. Neither team was remarkable but the game day experience of sitting 3 rows back from home plate was as good as it gets.
