Perfect Game: Roy Halladay
While his time with the Blue Jays established Roy Halladay as of the best pitchers of his generation, it was his 2010 season with the Phillies where he reached legendary status. His 2010 season included a no-hitter during the playoffs and this perfect game.
Throwing 115 pitches for 27 outs, Halladay managed 11 strikeouts, which was an added achievement, not regarded as a power pitcher. This perfect game was the second one of 2010, the first time there were multiple no-hitters in one season, during baseball’s modern era.
