2022 Run differential? +70 Blue Jays

The Toronto Blue Jays ended their 2022 season strong with a 6-3 win over the Red Sox. Going into the playoffs after sweeping Boston, Toronto is positioned well to try and get past the Wild Card round of the playoffs. It’s worth noting that the Blue Jays dominated the Red Sox this year, with a record of sixteen wins and three losses, and defined by their July 22nd, which they won 28-5.

I was worried when Kevin Gausman was pulled in the third inning for an apparent fingernail issue, but the consensus is that he is fine and will be ready to pitch in the playoffs.

I hope to return to Toronto in the coming weeks and take in a few playoff games.

Edited: Since the Blue Jays didn’t make it past the Wild Card series, my playoff game attendance for the ALDS was dashed early.
