Pirates blank the Brewers

After a successful series against their division rival and leader, things did not go as planned for the Brewers. Shut out by a team of five Bucs pitchers, all the home team could muster was 3 hits. The Pirates, on the other hand, managed 7 runs, led by 3 home runs from Andrew McCutchen, Starling Marte and Jordy Mercer.

This was my first time back to Miller Park since 2013 and I got to enjoy it with my Milwaukeean friend Scott. The concourse area was improved quite a bit since the last time I was at the park, and the beer selection was just great, with dozens of local craft breweries well represented.
