New York Yankees 11 – Toronto Blue Jays 5

Game Recap  |  Box Score

The Toddfather goes 3-for-4

If you love baseball, you have to accept that sometimes games can go long, and be prepared to get home a bit later than expected. When it’s the middle of the week and you have to be up early for work the next morning, leaving the ballpark at around 11:00 p.m. isn’t a ton of fun.

Clocking in at almost fours hours thanks to 23 hits, 16 runs and using 13 different pitchers, the Yankees firmly defeated the Blue Jays on a strong 8th and 9th inning. Todd Frazier had solid game driving in three runs on a 3-4 evening. Gary Sanchez seemed to be micromanaging the pitching staff and team, constantly flashing instructions around the field. It was a bit strange and off putting.
