Eight days, 4 cities and 6 baseball games later, my trip finally came to an end with an 11-0 loss by the Nationals to the New York Mets. While the pitching clearly fell apart, the Nats also demonstrated a serious inability to score runs. With only a 5 hit difference between the 2 teams, the game should have been much closer. While there was a 2nd game that I could have attended (doubleheader!), I decided to take in the sights of Washington, D.C. instead.
Thank you Instagram for the pretty filter.
The Capitol Building.
Charge!
Vietnam Veterans Memorial.
The White House. Late in the day long shadows always make me think of the photography of my good friend Nancy Beaton.
