1986 Season

World Series Champion: New York Mets

New York Mets over the Boston Red Sox (4-3)

While the rest of the baseball world was talking about the Curse of the Bambino and how it was a direct influence on the Bill Buckner Blunder, I was more concerned with something else. I had a bittersweet moment since I was happy to see the ex-Expos Gary Carter get to win a World Series, but at the same time, I wish that he got the chance to win one in Montreal.
