Yarbrough offers his fourth quality start of 2019
While my goal is still to visit every major league ballpark eventually, I do not discriminate against the lesser leagues. I was delighted to find out that I would have the opportunity to visit Durham Bulls Athletic Park to see the Bulls take on the Rochester Red Wings. Opened in 1995, DBAP is inspired by the majority of the new MLB modern-retro parks and has borrowed featured from all over. From the Blue Monster to Diamond View to the Snorting Bull sign, there are a lot of interesting features to take in during the game. The concessions offered a solid food and beverage variety, and as is the case with AAA Baseball, the overall expense of the evening quite reasonable.
The Durham Bulls offence was strong this evening led by the two-hit, three RBI game by Nick Solak. His two-run home run in the bottom of the fourth gave the Bulls a two-run lead that they continued to build on all night. Ryan Yarbrough got his second win of the season by delivering a four-hit, two-earned run quality start through six.
