Scherzer out with a right triceps spasm

While Max Scherzer had to leave the game in the 5th with an injury, he did his part to keep the Blue Jays scoreless until they finally pieced together a couple of runs in the seventh. With the top of the Toronto line up cold tonight, the likes of Schneider, Biggio and Clement did what they could to get them back into the game.

Ultimately, they could not catch the Rangers, who saw solid hitting performances from Seager and Grossman.
