Jose Berrios blanks the Jays through seven
On the back of Jose Berrios’ stellar seven innings, the Twins shutout the Blue Jays 5-0. The most striking thing about Berrios was the pace at which at which he threw is 102 pitch gem. While rookie Ryan Borucki was also strong, he was finally tagged for two runs in the sixth, both of them unearned. It’s fascinating to see a pitcher drop his ERA to 2.79 and still lose a game
As much as I enjoy all types of baseball games, players and team, I find myself frustrated when I start to notice trends and habits that, if changed, could help to improve the team little by little.
The only thing remarkable about the Blue Jays today was the on-field play of Devon Travis. Factoring in ten different in-field plays, it felt as if he had an impact on every Minnesota hit.
