Rather than spent the Canada Day long weekend at home, I decided to squeeze in 4 ball games in four days at the most convenient MLB city to get to, Toronto. Rather than travel to somewhere new or more exotic, I decided to go with what was most familiar.
Game Highlights:
- Kevin Pillar’s insane leaping catch against the wall in right-centre field
- Ubaldo Jimenez had a quality start giving up only 2 hits, 0 runs and 8 strikeouts across 8 innings.
- Something is wrong with the Blue Jays lineup. I smell multiple, quiet injuries.
- That was one of the shortest games I’ve been to, with it clocking in at 2:29. Not sure why!
